New Hope Pilot Project is Hoping to Open to the public and start offering services on the 90 acre parcel Fall of 2023 in East Texas. We will be working on 90 Acres Raw Land to Build and Expand Our Veterans' Working Ranch & Farm to Fork Equine Facilitated Mental Health Boots to Business
Get Involved with Our Veterans’ Boots to Business New Hope Project. Join Us and Help Fight the War on Hunger. We have been working on taking a 180 acre template of raw ground and turning it back into productive Ranch & Farm operation to help East Texas Veterans, their families and those in the community in need.
It is a mission minded project out in the country away from the hustle and bustle to help those returning from deployment to learn to be agricultural entrepreneurs and small business owners of ranches and farms that will help feed Our America.
‘New Hope is Blessed to have the opportunity to do a pilot program, also known as a trial run, in East Texas, on some Veteran Owned Land, for the volunteer operated Veterans’ Working Ranch & Farm to Fork, Equine Facilitated Mental Health Programs for those in need, in East Texas. This is a grass roots community project, it can only be as good as the community effort put into it. This is a network of neighbors helping neighbors to bring New Hope to those in need by those who have some time or resources to offer coming together for a common goal.
We have a 5 year lease to see if we can bring the community together in participation on a 90 acres parcel of raw ground to clear and turn into producing ground from a blank template of desert red dirt road and weeds. A perfect template to create a get away for the veterans in the community. A Place for small groups of young ranching and farming candidates to come learn where their food comes from, those without livestock and opportunity to learn and compete if they chose and so much more. Leased to our non profit 501c3 for the purpose of restoring the land, while offering multiple curriculums to educate about how to grow and raise your own food. Hands on experience, that a device (cell phone or computer) can not offer you.
Hands in the dirt, and sweet on the brow are part of the therapeutic process of restoring the land and is the best form of hands on education while learning a trade starting with running lines for water and power, Sod Busting the dirt for crops, Clearing the fields of trees etc. Driving posts and stretching the fence to secure the livestock, building shelters, clearing pastures and trails for horse back riding, learning to ride and passing your wrangler training to be able to compete or trail ride and so much more! There will be member based program in the future, However we believe those who put in the work, have a say in who shares in the yield, of the harvests and those hard working volunteers get to enjoy the spoils of the down time, The times where you bring your guitar, cook out on the fire, have some smores and maybe fit in a night ride!
Offering Credit for Community Service Hours, Accepting internship applications, If you, your family or business can help on this mission please contact UnitedAnimalIndustries@Gmial.com Subject Line “New Hope Project”
